Netflix Subscription Prices Are Being Increased Next Month
Get Ready To Pay A Slightly Higher Monthly Fee

Netflix said it was going to happen and that day will soon be upon us. For those of us who have enjoyed our grandfathered subscription price of $7.99 per month that is quickly about to change. Starting next month subscribers will see their monthly price increased to $9.99 per month. This is being done to match the price increase the company implemented for new subscribers which began last year.

This change is going to affect about 37% of U.S. subscribers, or 17 million people. So how will people react? Well, some people will obviously complain about the price increase but still keep the service. While other may cancel their subscriptions altogether. I’m fairly certain however that this is something Netflix has already taken into account.

Let’s be honest though, compared to cable or satellite a subscription with Netflix is strikingly less than their competition. And a whole hell of lot easier to cancel if you’re not satisfied with the service. What are your thoughts on the price increase. Share them with us in the comments section below.
