Coca-Cola Is Rebranding Coke Zero To Coca-Cola Zero Sugar
Bye Felicia!

Coca-Cola is getting ready to re-brand their Coke Zero to Coke Zero Sugar but only in the UK. Of course they aren’t just renaming it, they’re also changing the drink’s recipe. Their move to replace Coke Zero will cost the company a reported £10 million. The company wants the the drink to taste more like original while reducing the sugar content.

“Since 2012 our commercial strategy has focused on accelerating the growth of our no-sugar options. We know that millions of people love the taste of Coca-Cola and have been working to refine the recipe of Coca-Cola Zero to match the taste of the original – but without sugar” Jon Woods, general manager of Coca-Cola Great Britain.

The company said it is also taking other steps to help soft-drink lovers in the UK to reduce their sugar intake by also introducing smaller cans. Coca-Cola Zero Sugar will be available in the UK from the end of June. The real question is whether the company plans on making a similar change for the drink here in the states. What do you guys think? Share your thoughts with us in the comments section below.
