4 Genius Travel Tips for the Girl on the Go
Traveling Made More Convenient

Are you girl who is always “on the go?” If so then you know anything that can make the hassle of jet-setting a little more appealing can be a life-saver.

Here are some tips and tricks for surviving life on the road.

Ziplock bags are your best friend
Ziplock bags are a lifesaver for organization—they are clear and take up essentially no extra space. Hair accessories, bobby pins and hair scrunchies stay together in a ziplock. Q-Tips and cotton pads? They get their own bag, too.

Pack products that multitask
The last thing you’re going to want on a trip is an overflow of products crowding your space. Instead, pack multi-purpose products to keep it simple. How about a tinted cream stain that can be used as a cheek and lip color? Or a sunscreen that also doubles as an oil-absorbing face powder?

Go super duper tiny
Use all the free samples you get in your beauty subscription box and from beauty stores like Sephora for travel! You can finish most small items while vacationing, so toss the empty packaging before heading home. That’s less to pack, fewer items to bring home, and less unpacking once home!

Use a tennis ball to keep in-flight soreness at bay
Bring a tennis ball with you when you’re traveling – It’s great to roll under your feet and even under your thighs to keep you from getting stiff/sore. It’s small, inexpensive and easy to replace.

Iron without an iron
Did you know you can usually zap wrinkles away with concentrated bursts of hot air from a blow-dryer? Just after you’ve styled your hair (when your dryer is nice and toasty), hold it about two inches from the garment (to avoid scorching the fabric), blast it and then be on your way.
