Fan Creates Ghostbusters 3 Using Footage From The 2009 Video Game

A very industrious YouTuber by the name of GamestersStuff created Ghostbusters 3 using cut scenes and game footage from the 2009 video game. In his own words:

“What I have done here for your viewing pleasure is put together a compilation of cut scenes and gameplay from the game to collaborate the story line into a feature length movie that I simply call “Ghostbusters III” and I think it turned out pretty darn well. All video was recorded on a high end PC at max settings and enhanced with video editing at full blu-ray quality. This took me a LONG time to put this together folks so I hope you all enjoy it as much as I do!” GamestersStuff

Director Paul [...]

WB Games Has Delayed Batman: Return To Arkham Indefinitely

Fans who were looking forward to playing the remasters of both Batman: Arkham Asylum and Batman: Arkham City are in for some disappointment. WB Games has recently announced that they have indefinitely delayed the release of Batman: Return to Arkham. The bundle was originally slated to be released on July 26 release for the PS4 and Xbox One but now no longer has a release date. A short statement addressing the matter was made on the official forums:

“After reviewing the progress of the project, the team at WB Games has decided to delay the release of Batman: Return to Arkham to give the team at Virtuous Games [...]

The CW And Netflix Are Reportedly In Talks Regarding Content

As it was recently reported in Variety, The CW and Netflix are close to finalizing a new deal covering scripted series that significantly speeds up the availability of the shows to less than two weeks after each season ends on the network. This new deal comes as The CW and Hulu are soon to be parting ways on the deal that made selected current episodes of CW series available for streaming on a rolling-five basis. The proposed deal with Netflix would have the most recent season premiering on the service two weeks following the conclusion of said season.

Traditionally the most recent season wouldn’t premiere on Netflix until a week or two before the start of a new season [...]

River City: Tokyo Rumble Is Getting A Physical Release In North America

River City: Tokyo Rumble is coming stateside! River City Ransom is without a doubt my favorite beat ’em up on the NES! The game itself is part of a larger series, known as the “Kunio-Kun” series in Japan, which spawned a multitude of sequels. However only a small handful of titles were ever released in North America. Some of these titles included: Renegade, Super Dodge Ball and  Crash ‘n the Boys: Street Challenge.

So it should come as a pleasant surprise to fans in the West (Myself included) that Natsume recently announced that River City: Tokyo Rumble would be coming to the Nintendo 3DS here in North America. The game was originally intended as a [...]

God of War – E3 2016 Gameplay Trailer | PS4

Surprise! Kratos is back! On Monday, Sony revealed the long-rumored and long-awaited new game in the “God of War” series, simply titled God of War. This isn’t a reboot of the series but is actually the fourth installment. Of course this can be a little confusing to anyone not familiar with the series. In this trailer for the upcoming title we see a Kratos who is older and quite frankly more restrained then we’ve ever seen him.

On top of that he is also a father which came as the biggest surprise to me. So I can only assume that following the conclusion of God of War 3, after he merciselly murdered Zues, Kratos disaperered for awhile and made a new life [...]

Friday the 13th: The Game World Gameplay Premier!

I did numerous articles on Friday the 13th: The Game last year when it was first announced and have been following the games’s progress ever since. As a fan of the film series and the original NES game from LJN (don’t judge me) I’m excited to finally see some game play footage. And I have to say I am very impressed with what the developers have accomplished. On appearances alone it seems that the game is taking an approach similar to the style of the game play found in Evolve. Where one player takes on the role of the antagonist and the other players take on the roles of protagonists or in this case potential victims.

The video above gives us a glimpse of [...]

State of Decay 2 Announcement Trailer

Announced live during Xbox’s E3 live conference and set for release in 2017 is State of Decay 2 from Undead Labs. The first game was a bit of a “sleeper hit” but was met with positive reviews despite many of the bugs that plagued the game upon its initial release. The game would go on to sell over a million copies and earned the distinction of being the second-fastest-selling XBLA game of all time. Like its predecessor, State of Decay 2 will be an open-world third-person survival RPG set in a recent zombie apocalypse. However unlike its predecessor, the game will support drop-in co-op play so you can enlist a couple friends to help keep the roaming hordes at bay. In [...]

Supergirl Producers Confirm That Superman Will Appear In Season 2

I think we can all agree that moving Supergirl from CBS to The CW was the right move for the show. Just as Marvel has all their of shows on Netflix with the exception of Marvel’s Agents of Shield, The CW has become home for DC’s growing television universe. With the transition to the new network producers have promised cross-overs with CW’s other DC shows and have recently confirmed that Superman will in fact be appearing in the second season of Supergirl.

“Greg [Berlanti], Ali [Adler] and I are beyond thrilled to welcome Clark Kent and his slightly-more-famous alter ego to the world of Supergirl, Superman will be appearing in the first two [...]

Kellogg’s Introduces Soda Flavored Pop-Tarts

I’m all for innovation when it comes to food but these newest pop-tarts from Kellogg’s has me scratching my head. Just in time for the Summer, Kellogg’s has teamed up with Dr. Pepper Snapple to introduce two new pastries that feature soda flavors inspired by A&W Root Beer and Crush Orange soda. Hungry yet? The cereal maker has described the A&W Root Beer flavor as “bubbling with root-beer flavored filling,” and the Crush Orange flavor as having a “citrus-flavored filling” that will “tingle your taste buds.”

“Tingle your taste buds”? Maybe I’m old [...]
